Yeesh, so I am having some difficulties trying to figure this place out! xD

Well, here is a little bit about me, I guess I could start somewhere, ne?

I am Mimiru, a gyaru in a galsaa called WishFul. WishFul is an ivesaa, meaning that we hold events for other gyaru. We currently have three events coming up, and I will post as they come.

But, despite being gyaru...I love to cosplay. Cosplay is a big no in gyaru society, but I cant help it. I love to sew and act, and cosplaying is a great way for me to do that and show off my work as well.

I love music especially. Mostly listen to J-rock and J-pop. But I also listen to Euro beat, Tech-euro and hime trance. I love traditional Japanese music too.

GACKT:

This story is relatively long, however, I feel I must explain it since it is very important to me, and plays a huge part of my life.


My mom was in hospital when I was 7. She was shot. They were not sure if she was going to make it. The foreign channel was on, and I ended up hearing this voice. I thought it was the voice of an angel coming to take my mom away from me. But it was so beautiful. I hunted out the voice, and found the tv. On It, was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. I really thought it was an angel. I turned to my mom and asked: "Mom...why does that girl sound like a guy?" and she said: "Some men are pretty like that." I couldnt understand him. When I was little, I spoke fluent cherokee. I could unerstnad English and Cherokee, but not this. I was facinated. Since then, my mom been helping me learn about him. Its how I got into Japan and Shibuya fashion. Gackt is like my big brother, so I call him onii-sama or onii-san. I look up to him, idolize him, he is everything to me. I live by his way of life (minus the cosplay and gyaru...)...When I was 13, I was going to kill myself. But as I went to, I thought...Oniisama would be so angry if I did this....I should not do it. And so I didnt. And when I was in a car accident, I nearly died. I wasnt supposed to make it. But I thought, "But I cant die cause Oniisama." If we knew eachother and he was really my big brother. I looked at things from that perspective, and I still do. It isnt about the music or the fame or the money. But he is literally like my oniisama.

I know it sounds weird, but I dont expect you to understand it or sympathize with it. All I ask you to do is accept me and my beliefs and opinions. Not discriminate against it like most of the fangirls I meet do. Ive had fangirls launch themselves at me and try to claw my eyes out: "YOU DONT TALK ABOUT HIM THAT WAY YOU OBSESSIVE FREAK!!!" But, that isnt what it is. Not at all. Not an obsession. But a respect and love for a man who I deem as my earth savior and hero. Is that so hard to accept? Deal. Lets just be friends.



My gyaru life:

I love Shibuya fashion. I usually do manba and banba, but lately I have been doing gyaru-kei. I do parapara! I love it! I usually techpara though, although I love to learn other routines. Techpara presents me with a challenge! Lately I have been getting into TraPara.

My Traditional Japan:

I am a traditional Japanese dancer. I do Tozan Ryu, which is a form of Nihon Buyou. I also do Bon Odori.

I kitsuke, meaning that I wear kimono. And, I am a perfectionist. xD I have no problem telling someone that their yukata/kimono is worn wrong! So if you happen to be someone I say that to, then please dont take offense! I only want you to know how to wear such a beautiful garment. *nods happily* I will also always offer you tips and tell you how you can correct this.
But remember,, the most common mistake:

LEFT OVER RIGHT!!!

I will post tutorials up here sometime on how to wear kimono! And even tie obi! So please be on the lookout!

I also study Japanese language and culture, and I can read and write hiragana, katakana and my kanji is growing. ^.^
